HOW IT ALL WORKS
Leading up to Hit-A-Thon Day - PLEDGES
Players can start collecting pledges Through their personalized pledge link. Pledge links are emailed to the email address used during the registration process. You can share your link via text, email, and/or social media with your friends and family. Add a player photo to your link, update the player's personal goal if desired, and make it your own! Go over the top and create a video separately sharing what the player goals are and what Hit-A-Thon is about to share with potential sponsors to make it even more special. Check out the pledge page to view player standings! If every player collects $150 in pledges, we would meet and SURPASS our fundraising goal!
Please make sure to log into your player's link to ensure that all of the information for the player is CORRECT. If you need to make corrections to a player's name, please contact [email protected]; if you did not receive the email with your player's link, please check the spam/junk folder. If it is not there, please contact [email protected] to verify your email address used with registration.
Sponsors can make a pledge online through the players individual link or visit https://app.99pledges.com/fund/PALLHAT 2026 to search for participants. Pledges and donations may only be made online through 99pledges. Players can collect flat donations or pledges per foot for ‘best out of 3 hits at longest hit' for MAJORS, MINOR A, and MINOR B and ‘best out of 5 hits longest hit' for MAPS, ROOKIES and T-BALL. EXAMPLE: $.10 pledge per foot and Player’s best hit is 180 feet - sponsor's pledge would total $18.00
The field will be set-up accordingly per division with targets that will award instant prizes like goodies from the Snack Shack. There will be additional prize tiers based on total dollar amount of pledges collected, farthest hits in each division, most pledges raised, and MORE! Prizes and eligibility can be found on the current year's Hit-A-Thon section.
Don't forget to check out the online auction taking place with the Hit-A-Thon. There are some really INCREDIBLE theme-baskets that PALL Team Parents have worked so hard in organizing just for you!!! The link to the online auction will be made available as the day of the Hit-A-Thon gets closer.
Hit-A-Thon Day
The Hit-A-Thon will be held on Field 1 at the PALL fields beginning at 8:00am. All players are strongly encouraged to participate and should wear their game uniforms for the event. Each team will receive a time slot in which they will hit, and should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to check-in and meet your Team Parent or team designated contact. Once all participants have arrived, the Team Parent will check-in at the registration table near Field 1. Please ARRIVE ON TIME to keep the flow of batters moving. Teams will move into the designated dugout and the first batter will begin when called to the plate and all other batters will immediately follow. Please DO NOT bring bags/backpacks into the dugout, bring ONLY your own helmet, batting gloves and bat.
Each team must provide at least FOUR-FIVE (4-5) adults from their team during their hitting time slot.
An official recorder for distance/instant prizes is REQUIRED for every team.
- POINT OF CONTACT/TEAM PARENT to organize and oversee the general direction of team, gathering the team together, contact for check-in, leading to designated dugout and assisting in dugout, writing player names on marking flags.
- DISTANCE/PRIZE RECORDER to write down the distance each player hits and any instant prizes each player may have won on a league-provided team roster sheet. THIS IS THE ONLY METHOD TO RECORD DISTANCE AND INSTANT PRIZES.
- DUGOUT/LINEUP COORDINATOR to keep players in dugout, preparing next batter, and helping to keep flow of hitters moving
- TWO (2) FIELD AGENT(S) to set ball on tee, call out next player and distance marking of hits
- ONE-TWO (1-2) BALL COLLECTORS (can be older kids too) to assist in shagging of balls after batters have hit. PALL will provide the baseballs
All divisions will hit off a tee and the player will receive a set number of hits based off of their team division. INTERMEDIATES, JUNIORS, MAJORS, MINOR A, and MINOR B will hit three (3) times from the tee. MAPS, ROOKIES, and T-BALL will hit five (5) times from the tee. The longest hit for each player will be recorded by one of the designated Hit-A-Thon team members who will write down the distance of each hit called out by a field agent. There will be targets correlating to specific prizes on the field, some are INSTANT prizes. PLEASE BE ON TIME and KEEP THE FLOW of hitters moving. All teams will have an estimated 15 minutes on the field.
After Hit-A-Thon Day
Players will be able to continue to collect pledges and donations until the designated end date and time of the pledge page. Continue to check the pledge page to see if you are still in the lead! Eligibility for prizes are based on the total amount raised after amounts have been verified and received by PALL from each sponsor per player. Prize-tiered prizes will be given to the Team Parent to distribute before the end of the season. Your team can decide how you would like to celebrate each player's earnings. Some prizes will be awarded at Closing Ceremonies.
